december 13th means my favorite swedish holiday – Lucia! originally a italian saint it might sound a bit weird that we celebrate her in sweden but we have swedishfied her with boys in white cone hats and some ginger bread men walking next to her. they all sing traditional swedish christmas carols and serve glögg (hot mulled wine) and lussebullar (saffron bread). nom, nom, nom!
