Torun and Jacob live in Moscow Russia, but got married at Jacob’s family’s estate outside Gränna in Sweden. The days before the rain was pouring and I actually fell asleep with crossed fingers and the mantra “please do not rain, please do not rain” the night before the ceremony. The sky was heavy and dark but it didn’t rain – hurray! Torun got ready at Västanå slott with her sisters/bridesmaids. Anna Göransson from Kontra:Stockholm did her make up and Antonio Axe did her (and her bridesmaid’s) beautiful hair – oh, how I love working with great vendors like these! Thank you both – you make my job so much easier! :) The earrings were a gift to Torun from Jacob at the day of the wedding and the dress, the s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g. dress, was an Elie Saab! And it had cute pockets! I’ll admit, I started crying when Torun put it on and it was purely from an egoistic point of view – I just couldn’t believe I was going to get to photograph a gorgeous bride like her! Haha, yepp – I’m definitely a wedding nerd! And it just went downhill from there – Torun’s sister jumping up’n’down when they saw their sister as a bride for the first time, Jacob’s face when he first saw her walking down the aisle, the smile on Torun’s face when they put on the rings, Torun’s mother’s speech, the sibling’s “mört 1 kr”-and “okej”-posters… My make up looked like crap at the end of the evening but to me that’s only a sign of an awsome wedding!
